Mission Statement:

The City of Iowa Park and the Parks and Recreation Department take great pride in our lakes, parks, and recreational facilities.  We strive to provide safe, clean, and family friendly environments for all our citizens and guests.  It is our hope that any visits to one of our parks or facilities will be enjoyable and memorable.

Parks and Recreation Maintenance Department:

The Parks and Recreation Maintenance Department is a year round fully staffed and equipped department that is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and the beautification of the city.  The department does weekly maintenance and grounds keeping to all the parks, recreational facilities, public building grounds, street medians, and planters.  The department also provides maintenance and set up of the Christmas lights and takes part in numerous other outdoor family events.
